What I Wish I Knew
Summary: When Master Yoda makes it a requirement for all Jedi Knights to take a Padawan, it means a lot of very young children end up on the front lines of a war. Plo Koon ends up with an eleven year old padawan, and he turns to Commander Wolffe to explain the realities of their situation to her.
Characters: Commander Wolffe, Plo Koon, Young F!Padawan Reader (all platonic)
Word Count: 761
Warnings: Wolffe has a heavy conversation with the reader
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni @imabeautifulbutterfly
A/N: Is a lot of what Wolffe says pulled directly from this song, yes. Yes it is. But it works.
“Commander,” General Koon walks over to him, a pensive look on his face, “I’m glad to see you. I was hoping to get your advice on something.”
“My advice, General?” Wolffe is, understandably, confused at the very idea, “I’m happy to help, of course. But I’m not sure what kind of advice I can give you that you don’t already know.”
“It’s always important to get multiple opinions.” General Koon says lightly, “And this is a matter that you might be better equipped at dealing with than myself.”
“Alright,” Wolffe replies slowly, “Go ahead.”
“You might have noticed,” General Koon starts slowly, thoughtfully, “That my Padawan is very…young.”
That might very well be the understatement of the century. She’s hardly the youngest of the new Jedi Commanders, that particular honor lies at Cody’s feet, who has an 8 year old Jedi Commander and it bothers him a lot.
“She’s not terribly young, sir.” Wolffe says awkwardly.
General Koon chuckles, “True. She’s at least old enough to be a Padawan on her own merits, but she is still very young, Commander. Too young for War. Too young to understand the realities, I think.”
“General, what are you asking me to do?”
“Talk to her. Help her understand.”
“Shouldn’t that be your job?” Wolffe asks.
“I think the lesson will stick better coming from you.” General Koon replies quietly, “Can you do this?”
Wolffe sighs and rubs the back of his neck, “Yeah. Yeah, alright. Just…send her to my office when she finishes with her lessons for the day.”
“Of course…and, Commander, thank you.”
“Don’t mention it.” Wolffe remains standing there as General Koon walks away, and then he sighs.
Great. How do you explain war to a Cadet who actually has to take part in it? His training did not cover this.
With that thought in mind, he turns on his heels and heads towards his quarters. Hopefully the short walk will make the words magically appear. He’s not hopeful, though. Odds are he’s going to be winging it.
Half an hour later, there’s a knock on his door, and then it slides open, and a small face peeks in.
She’s…young.
So young.
Too young.
Her hair is tied in twin tails. Twin tails that she needs help putting up still. And her face is still rounded with baby fat.
Wolffe knows, logically, that she’s inching towards puberty. He knows human biology after all, but he can’t help but look at her and see a cadet rather than a jedi.
“Master said that you wanted to see me, Wol-...um, Commander.” She asks as she steps into the room and shuts the door behind her, “Did I do something wrong?”
Wolffe opens his mouth, and the words start coming, “I was younger than you are now, when I was given my first command.” He says, and she turns wide, baffled eyes towards his face, “I led my men into a massacre, I witnessed their deaths first hand.”
Her hands curl around her robes…robes that are too big for her.
“I made every mistake.” Wolffe continues as he stares at her, “And even now, to this day, I lie awake knowing that history has its eyes on me.”
“Why are you telling me this?” She asks, her voice wavering slightly, her eyes even wider.
Good. She understands.
Wolffe circles his desk and kneels in front of her, “Let me tell you what I wish I knew, what I wish someone had told me.” He sets his hands on her shoulders. She’s so small, too small. “You have no control over who lives, who dies, or who tells your story at the end.”
She sniffles and her wide eyes fill with tears.
Wolffe smiles, and tugs her into a light hug, “I know that we can win.” He says quietly, “I know that greatness lies in you. But you have to remember, from here on out, that history has its eyes on you.”
She hastily wipes her eyes, and she blinks up at him with eyes that are a little more haunted than they were moments earlier. A little less innocent. “...Yes Commander, I think I understand.”
“Good girl.”
She offers him a quick bow, and then she scurries out of the room, and Wolffe leans against his desk. Only time will tell how this chat went, but, hopefully, he got through to her.
Hopefully she’ll understand what he meant.
Hopefully General Koon won’t be too mad about what he just taught her.
His head tilts back, history has its eyes on you indeed.

I stan Wolffe as the best big brother
cuddling the 104th
summary: Ignoring her bed rest, (Y/n) escapes the med bay with the help of Sinker and Boost. Commander Wolffe encounters them. Will he help? Or will he tell Plo‘buir?
pairings: 104th x Reader, Sinker, Boost, Wolffe, Comet
warnings: the softest fluff
words: 901
a/n: manifesting my wolfpack boys in tomorrows episode :) also this is part of my 1k celebration
MASTERLIST REQUEST RULES
“Sinker! Boost! What are you doing?“
Heavy steps echo through the corridor. Wolffe watches his brothers round a corner and starts to run. There was someone in their arms and the Commander is quite sure who this someone is - their Padawan (Y/n).
Soft giggles reach his ears as he rounds the corner as well and almost runs into Sinker. His brothers look at him with wide guilty eyes.
“Hello there Wolffe“, (Y/n) greets the Commander with a silly smile and waves her hand. Her hand only stops moving when Sinker grabs it. Boost tightens his grip around (Y/n)s weak body, cradling her against his chest.
“Why is she here? She is injured!“, Wolffe asks protectively and takes a step forward to take (Y/n) from his brothers arms. She frowns at him and grasps Boosts top blacks.
“She hates the med bay! They gave her a good amount of painkillers which made her uncomfortable“, the Sergeant of the Wolfpack tries to explain but Wolffe shakes his head no. There is no way they can carry her around the ship while she has a broken leg as well as a blaster wound. She needs to stay in bed.
“I will take her back“, Wolffe announces and moves one of his arms under (Y/n)s legs while the other wraps around her upper body. With a sad glance towards the Padawan, Boost lets go of her. (Y/n) squirms in Wolffes arms but to no avail. The painkillers as well as blood loss made her dizzy.
Silent steps come closer and as Sergeant Sinker looks around the corner, he discovers their General. After turning back around he stops Wolffe with a hand against his firm chest. (Y/n) begs in his arms to stay with the clones. She wants so desperately to sleep in their barracks. Because that is where she feels most at home.
“Plo‘buir is coming!“, Sinker tells the group. (Y/n)s heart sinks because she knows her Master will bring her straight back to med bay. So she looks up at Wolffe with huge pleading eyes. The Commander sighs and nods.
“You distract him. I will get her inside our barracks“, Wolffe commands and his words make (Y/n)s eyes shine. While Sinker and Boost head towards the General with some stupid excuse, he walks the other way.
“I knew you had a soft spot for me“, (Y/n) states after some silence with a sweet giggle. Wolffe looks at her for a second but then focuses on not being seen by too many people. Still there is a smile on his lips.
“No. I simply want you where I can watch over you. Getting you back to the med bay would never stop you from trying to escape“, Wolffe explains as he rounds the last corner and walks straight towards the entrance of the Wolfpacks barracks.
“What you are trying to say is: You are soft for me“, (Y/n) teases and pokes the Commanders chest. She watches him roll his eyes like he always does. But she knows its not a mean gesture.
“C-Commander“, Comet greets the two of them. Sinker and Boost gave him the mission to guard the barracks and cover them. He is surprised to see (Y/n) in the arms of Wolffe, the one they thought would be a big problem.
Inside the barracks the clones of the 104th are already dragging their mattresses from their cots to a huge comfortable pile in the middle of the room. Some shinnies welcome (Y/n) with a pat on her shoulder or simply a smile.
Wolffe places (Y/n) in the middle of the combined mattresses, checking her for any sign of pain or discomfort, but she smiles at him sweetly. Comet drapes a blanket around her shoulders and then sits down next to her. All the other clones lay down around them like some human barrier. (Y/n) feels safe.
Sinker and Boost come through the door with laughter and join their brothers the same time as their Commander returns. Wolffe has taken off his armor. The second he lays on his back, (Y/n) rests her head on his chest. One of her hands is entwined with Comets.
“The real reason why I wanted to be here is that I wanted to know if everyone is aright“, (Y/n) whispers after some time and feels Wolffe shift underneath her.
“It‘s okay, ad‘ika. We are all safe now“, Wolffe breathes and wraps an arm around (Y/n). He caresses her back with his rough fingers, trying to calm her to sleep. It works. After some time the Padawan is sighing in her sleep and clutches Wolffes top blacks in her small hand.
It‘s silent for a while and most clones are already sleeping. Then Sinker and Boost start bickering about their next mission where the clones get to carry jetpacks. Both are too excited to sleep.
“Sinker. Boost. Shut up!“, Wolffe whisper-screams and kicks Boost in the neck to silence him. While Sinker laughs, Boost groans pained. Soon even the two fall asleep.
The next morning (Y/n) is the first one to wake up because she feels a close presence in the force. She looks around and meets the gaze of her Master. But he is smiling under his mask and leaves as soon as (Y/n) sees him. At least his Padawan is keeping her bed rest with the clones at her side.

Betrayal
Pairings: Commander Wolffe x Gn! Reader
Summary: you had been knighted, and then confessed love to the man who helped you get there. And then everything fell apart... you were just so... angry..
Warnings: canon violence, torture, order 66, inquisitors, inquisitor torture. Insanity.
Word count: 2,284
“Congratulations Y/n L/n on passing your knight trials. You have earned the right to call yourself a Jedi Knight, and a General of the republic.”
Plo Koon spoke to you as you knelt down in front of him. He ignited his saber, moving it close to your neck as he cut the padawan braid which fell into your hands. You stared at it for a moment, tears welling in your eyes as you rose to your feet before pulling your master into a tight hug.
“Thank you Master.” You whispered, pulling away as your hand went to where the braid used to be, feeling the singed hair which would grow out with time and join the rest of your hair.
The Jedi in the council room all clapped for you, and you bowed gratefully as Plo-Koon took his seat with the council. You turned to Master Yoda, who was smiling. “A promising future, you have ahead. Grow stronger with the force, you will.” He said, and you bowed once more.
“Keep up the good work, and you might become a Master in the future.” Mace Windu stated, and a small chuckle left your lips. “I can hardly wait, thank you masters.” You stated, before leaving the audience room.
Waiting outside was your Commander, and his wolf pack, their helmets off as they turned to you, grinning. “Awoo! look at you go girl! Congratulations General.” Boost spoke up with a grin as he patted your shoulder. You laughed, pulling the whole squad in, including Wolffe, hugging them all.
“I wouldn’t have been here without any of you. Thank you.” You stated, pulling back as you turned to look at Wolffe, who had saluted to you, the rest of his men following suit. “You’ll be commanding your own squad soon, General. We’re proud of you.” He said, and you placed your hand on his shoulder.
“You’ll always be in my heart Commander, you and the wolfpack.” You started, pulling back with a smile. “Time for a wardrobe change i think.” You joked, waving goodbye as you walked off.
-
You smiled at the fond memory. It had only been a few months since you were knighted, and you jumped from battalion to battalion before you were told your permanent home would be with your original unit. Plo Koon already knew, but he wanted it to be a surprise for the Wolfpack, especially his commander.
You and Plo Koon were talking at the ship docking bay, watching as clone troopers walked by, waving or smiling as they passed. You had just arrived on your fighter ship, and now you and Plo were making your way up to the bridge.
The doors slid open with a hiss, and as you entered you noticed Boost, Comet and Sinker arguing about something stupid while Wolffe watched with his arms crossed. He was facing away from you, so Sinker and Boost were the first to see you. However you quickly placed a finger to your lips and they kept quiet.
You were now behind Wolffe, smiling brightly before you spoke up.
“I would think in my absence you’d have slapped these boys into shape. Goes to show I can't leave you boys alone.” You spoke up, folding your hands behind your back as your grin settled back on your face.
Wolffe spun around immediately, practically ripping off his helmet as he stared at you. You wiggled your eyebrows at him before pulling him into a hug, since you knew he wouldn’t innitate it. However he happily reciprocated.
“I thought you’d be getting your own squad? What are you doing here, General?” He asked, pulling away after a few moments. You chuckled. “The council requested a new battalion be created, but The republic denied it, so I hopped from Battalion to battalion until they decided I'd go back to my original squad.” You explained.
You then playfully punched his shoulder. “Why, wanna get rid of me already?” You teased me. “No!” Wolffe exclaimed suddenly, clearing his throat as he fixed his sentence. “No General, I am glad you're back.” He stated.
You grinned, patting his shoulder as you went on to greet the rest of the wolfpack.
It had only been a few months but Wolffe could pick out what changed in your appearance. Your hair was shorter and your skin was more tanned, from being out in the sun probably. You had a new outfit, something very different from what you wore as a padawan. There was so much more he could think of but the list would go on forever.
After all the hellos, Wolffe offered to take you back to your quarters which had changed since you were last here but you didn’t mind.
Because as soon as you and him were alone in your room he had you pressed up against the wall, gripping your hips in his hands, his lips against yours as he kissed you furiously.
You were in your early 20’s as a padawan so when you had met Wolffe you and him had a bit of a fling. And you had missed this terribly.
“Wolffe-” You whined, breaking the kiss as you panted for air, hooking a leg on his hip as you stared into his eyes. “I love you.” You whispered, watching as his eyes widened. “I- what?” He asked, breathlessly.
You grinned, sliding your hands from his chest upwards to his cheeks, dragging your thumb along the scar of his right eye as you hooked your leg on his hip. “I said I love you, Wolffe.” You repeated, feeling his hand slide under your thigh to help support you against the wall. You heard a noise from him, resembling a whimper almost.
“I love you too, Sarad.” He whispered, pressing his face into your beck as he inhaled your scent. “I want to take us slow, take you on dates…” He trailed off, picking you up in his arms as he brought you over to your bunk. But he wasn’t rushing, the mood had changed from needing, to all that love and softness that he held for you.
Wolffe removed his armor until he was just in his blacks, now holding you in his arms as he laid next to you. You rested your head on his chest, your hand splayed out against his torso as you sighed.
You talked with Wolffe for what felt like hours, about plans for the future and so much more. Eventually you got up, needing to use the fresher. You were humming to yourself, enjoying a short shower before drying yourself off and getting redressed. You were now drying your hair when you heard some voices from the other side.
You just figured it was Wolffe talking with his brothers over the commlink, or with Master Plo himself. But once you were finished when you opened the door you could immediately tell something was wrong with the way he was sitting, almost with a look of disbelief. He looked up at you, hate and sadness strewn across his face.
“You’re a traitor.” He hissed, and your eyes went wide. “Wolffe what? what are you talking about?” You asked, taking a step towards him, only to stop when he aimed his blaster towards you. You raised your hands in defense, feeling your heart break as he looked at you with such hate.
“The Jedi are being arrested for treason.” He sneered, and you just shook your head in disbelief as he walked towards you. However as he aimed for your head you shot your hand up, throwing the blaster out of his grip.
You grasped his arm and twisted it, kicking him in the torso before slamming his head against your desk, successfully knocking him out. You let out a sob, quieting your voice as you grabbed your lightsaber, hooking it onto your belt, taking Wolffe’s blasters, tucking them into your robes.
You then grabbed your commlink, calling Master Plo who answered with what you could assume to be a chipper attitude. “Wolffe just tried to kill me, Master plo! said that the Jedi were being arrested for Treason! you need to find a way off this ship.” You hissed, putting Wolffe back into his armor before flinging him over your shoulder. “I have a shuttle near the back of the docking bay, wait for me there and hide Master Plo.” You said over the coms before going radio silent.
It was a lie of course, Plo knew you didn't have a shuttle there but if the clones were now hunting Jedi, then he knew to head to the opposite end of where you just told him to go.
You heard voices outside your room, running past it. You waited for a few moments until you heard no voices and sensed no life forms. You opened the door and ran from one end of the hallway to the next, hiding yourself when you needed to. Your main goal was to get to the shuttle, but before you could get up and run again, you heard a stun shot, feeling it hit your back.
You grunted, turning to find Boost and Sinker. “You are being apprehended, on Order of the Chancellor.” They started before stunning you again.
Everything went black.
-
Your wrists were bound, all you could feel was the harsh cold of metal against your barely clothed back. You were wearing tight blacks from what you could see, and the room you were in was dark, minus the red lights in the walls.
You heard a shift coming from the door before it opened, and your eyes widened as you saw two men enter, along with a probe droid and other tools. You tensed against your bonds, trying to slip out of them… until you felt the force envelope you, squeezing you.
“I saw you in my vision, young one.” A voice, the one whom this force signature belonged to, rang out through the room, sending shivers down your spine. “You will break, and become a lethal user of the dark side, leader of the inquisitorius…” The man trailed off, the force squeezing you tighter, growing painful.
You let out a choked cry, clenching your hands into fists. “Wh- Where… is Com- Commander- Wolffe.” You choked out, a pained yelp leaving your lips as you felt something being injected into your neck. “Your beloved Commander… you may have him, as soon as you break.” The man hissed, before leaving the room. The second man stayed, and you stared as whispers flooded your mind, hallucinations of all your friends, clones, beside him, screaming things at you.
They said you were worthless, that you would never have made a good Jedi knight.
this wasn't real. it wasn't- it can't be real.
It took a month.
Exactly one month until you got that vision of Wolffe, he was hurting you, bruising your flesh as he pushed you around. Anger swarmed your vision as it went red, your blood boiling with that raw emotion.
The man who was always interrogating you witnessed firsthand as a burst of electrical force energy broke the equipment around you. You killed that man with your bare hands. He was just an inquisitor to replace.
All you could see was red as you slaughtered your way through the fortress. You heard a voice, a real voice, not the ones in your mind. It was that man, that sick man who had brought you here in the first place.
You spun around, eyes golden with that rage as the man grinned at you. “Yes… yes! you are perfect.” He stated, coming to a stop in front of you as you heaved with anger. “Use that anger, child. Harness your new power. The Jedi are traitors, your old Master couldn’t even save you.” The man hissed.
You clenched your fists.
yes… the jedi made Wolffe hurt you. The Jedi started the war… this wasn’t your fault. No, the Jedi ruined everything.
you would make them pay.
-
Weeks later you stood tall, overseeing the turn of many Jedi to inquisitors. You were a hunter, and a damn good one, and the inquisitorius was growing stronger.
You were currently on a different planet, rumored to be harboring Jedi. But you had requested additional backup… a specific man who you hadn’t seen since the jedi tried to make him kill you.
You heard a ship land behind you, and you turned around as Wolffe and his new squad walked down the ramp. You were wearing a white mask, made of bone so he didn't notice you.
“Grand Inquisitor.” The man greeted you. “Remove your helmet, Commander.” You ordered, your voice crackling with the modifier of your mask. However as he removed his helmet, You lowered your hood, and then removed your mask, clipping it to the magnet on your belt.
Wolffe inhaled sharply as he saw you, his lover, the one he once thought a traitor. Now standing in front of him with yellow glowing eyes, bloodshot, an almost insane aura to you. You stepped towards him, grabbing his jaw as you gave him a wolfish grin. “You are my personal commander. Wolffe, my guard, my trooper.” You ordered, releasing his jaw as you instead traced your finger over his scar.
“Y/n-”
“No!” You shouted, grabbing his jaw again. “You lost the right to call me that name.” You hissed, taking a step back as you sucked in a breath to calm yourself. “You may call me Grand Inquisitor until I have deemed you worthy to call me that name.” You stated, placing your mask back over your face.
Wolffe stared at you with concern.
what had he done…

Room for More
TBB x fem!reader (platonic)
Fandom: Star Wars: The Bad Batch
Summary: A Jedi padawan of Master Plo Koon, you'd been on the run since Order 66 was executed after the Wolfpack betrayed your master. Mostly hiding out in Ord Mantell, you soon encountered Clone Force 99. After helping out with some of their missions for Cid (and always hanging out with Omega), the Batch welcomed you under their wing. However, you don't talk to them that much if it isn't mission-related. A certain mishap may change that.
Warnings: mentions of death, minor angst, metions of Order 66, mentions and description of vomit and GERD (PLS DO NOT READ IF THAT BOTHERS YOU)
A/N: Not proofread or edited. Reader should be around 20 years old. Also, reader's experience with GERD is based on my experience with it (I'm no medical professional so disclaimer!!)
The journey on the way back to Ord Mantell is not always vibrant, but this time, it is. Blue streaks decorate the blackness of space as the Havoc Marauder travels back to Ord Mantell. The energy in the ship is unusually jolly after a mission; you could feel everyone's energy.
Cid's client this time was a sheriff. He hired you and the Batch to act as temporary bodyguards to drive away mercenaries from his town on a tropical planet. While you were there, you and the Batch befriended the local villagers. As a thank you gift, they gave you tons of food—enough for a real meal for the five of you—for the journey back to Cid's.
It seems they packed you some sort of noodles. It's incredibly saucy—almost a vibrant red—not that you mind. The smell is delicious, mild enough for Hunter to enjoy it properly, but enough that you can smell the blend of several different spices. Chopped out pieces of vegetables and meat are mixed into it, as well.
You sit on your bunk, quietly observing the Batch as you heartily eat the noodles. Wrecker, who practically wolfed down his big portion of the food, is now playing dejarik with Omega, who is multitasking between eating dinner and playing the game. The girl giggles as she continues to beat the gentle giant.
Tech and Echo are both seated by the ship's console. You could sense that they're relaxed and satisfied, as opposed to their usual tired state after a mission. They both eat the food while chatting with each other, a smile on each of their faces.
Your glance finally lands on Sergeant Hunter. With his food in hand, he leans on the wall as he watches over his crew. Looking at him, you can feel warmth radiate through your body, and you know that feeling to be Hunter's; it's just the Force's way of telling you how happy he is for the time being.
You smile to yourself, it's not every time that the Batch could enjoy like this. Your heart feels light just by watching them. They reminded you of the Wolfpack.
Oh.
Your heart turns heavy. You're quite past being angry with them: about turning their backs against the Jedi Order; about betraying the cause they fought for; and about killing Master Plo.
No. You just miss them. You miss how things were. You miss the warmth they brought with their presence. You crave for Master Plo's fatherly advice and care. You want to feel Wolffe's comforting hug after a failed campaign. You want to hear Sinker's and Boost's corny jokes that would distract you from the horrors of the war.
You just want them back—just like the old times.
Breaking out of your thoughts, you feel a lingering sensation. Looking up, you find Hunter looking at you with worry. It still surprises you, that after months of being with them, you still can't quite figure out how his enhanced senses work.
Regardless, you send him your signature tight-lipped smile. That awkward smile that graced your features upon your introduction to your new master. The one you gave the 104th battalion at your first campaign as their Commander. The one—
You huff, internally berating yourself for going there again. You really should control your thoughts better.
You quickly finish your food, before properly disposing of the container and utensils. Quickly, you head to the fresher to brush your teeth. Once you're done, you feel something in your stomach, as if you're still hungry, as if something is bubbling inside. You ignore it, just wanting to sleep so that your mind won't be plagued by unwanted thoughts. It's hard at night, the dark thoughts always seem to get worse then.
Heading to your bunk, you collapse on it; everything you and the Batch did the past few days finally catching up to you as your adrenaline drops. It doesn't take long before you're curled up on your bunk, asleep.
You don't even know how long it's been, but suddenly you sit upright and swing your legs over your bunk. Without thinking, you walk briskly to the fresher, slamming the door shut before hunching over the toilet and immediately expelling your dinner.
You groan, slumping down on the fresher floor. You could feel something bubbling in your stomach again, forcing it's way up, along with a strong pinch in your abdomen. The aftermath of your vomit tastes like dinner and something sour.
Just then, a knock is heard. "Are you okay?" Hunter's gruff but calming voice calls out.
Shakily, you stand and flush the toilet before washing your hands.
"Yeah, I'm fine," you reply calmly, masking the pain that you're feeling.
Hunter suddenly opens the fresher door, making you jump. He looks at you worriedly.
"I can hear your stomach, doesn't sound good."
You walk past him into the direction of your bunk. You feel Echo's and Tech's eyes on you as well, but you just want to go back to sleep.
"I think I just ate too fast. Don't worry about it," you mumble tiredly as you resume your slumber.
Echo, Tech, and Hunter all look at your sleeping form but decided that perhaps it's best you get some rest.
The peace continues for around half an hour. You wake up again, hurriedly walking to the bathroom. You don't even notice the worried glance Tech gives, or even the fresher door that you left open before throwing up in the toilet again.
You groan, slumping on the fresher floor.
Someone pulls you up gently by your arm.
"It's alright, I got you," you hear Hunter say as you see Tech flushing the toilet.
You sigh as he brings you back to your bunk, laying you down on it.
"Sorry, Hunter. Did I wake you?" You ask.
He just chuckles. "Yeah, but don't worry. How're you feeling?"
You slump back on my pillows. "Tired."
Just then, Tech suddenly appears, typing away at his datapad. He looks at you before talking.
"It seems that the contents that you expelled included acid, aside from the food you ate for dinner," he then looks at Hunter, "you said you could hear her stomach?"
"Yeah, it sounded like something was bubbling upwards."
Tech nods, seemingly satisfied. "Figured as much," comes his robotic-like voice. He looks at you again, with one eyebrow raised. "I had a theory, so I looked for your medical files from the GAR. You have gastroesopheagal reflux disease. It is most likely that the noodles that we ate triggered it."
"Yeah, kinda figured that out after I threw up the first time," you mumble. You bring the blankets up to your chin, wishing that you could disappear from their scrutinizing gaze.
"I've also checked our medpacks—we do not have any antacid at hand. We'd have to wait till we arrive at Ord Mantell to restock."
Hunter frowns. "Do you need anything?" He asks you.
Your gaze lingers a bit longer on him than you would've liked. His eyebrow are arched upwards, causing lines to appear on his forehead. While crouched, you could still tell that his torso is slightly leaning forwards towards you. He keeps one hand on your bunk, too. For a brief moment, you see a man with a GAR-standard haircut, a cybernetic eye, a scar over it, and white and grey armor. But it's as if your vision shifts, and you see the man with long hair, face tattoo, a red bandana, and colorful armor.
"No, nothing. I'm fine," you reply dryly.
"No, you are not," Tech bluntly points out.
"I'll sleep it off," you mumble, rolling over to your side as your eyes begin to droop once again from exhaustion.
Hunter and Tech both sigh as you quite literally turn your backs on them. At this point, they're quite used to you being closed off, but this is the first time they've seen how you're like when your sick. You're more distant than you usually are.
After some time you feel the familiar pinch in your stomach and your labored breathing. The acid quickly rises in you, and it feels as if it were knawing through its pathway.
You quickly turn to the other side of your bunk in hopes to reach the fresher again. Instead, your eyes meet a metal bucket beside your bunk. Unable to hold everything in, you expel the acid in the bucket.
You cry out in pain; the muscles of your abdoment working overtime to push the acid out of you. Your hair drapes around your face as you throw up, getting in the way of the vomit that not only comes out of your mouth, but also some through the nose.
You vaguely feel a hand gathering your hair and holding it away from your face, and another hand gently rubbing your back.
"Hey, it's okay. I got you," it says soothingly.
Warm tears stream down from your eyes, to your cheeks, and pour down to the bucket.
You lie back down, breathing heavily. The bitter-sour aftertaste of the acid makes you cringe. Your eyelids flutter heavily, and you drift in and out of sleep. You don't even notice that Hunter disappeared until you hear the fresher door open and the bucket being settled down beside your bunk again.
"I could've done that myself," You mutter tiredly.
Hunter crosses his arms over his chest, a big frown on his face. "No, you need to rest. Let me help you."
"It's my problem. I'm the one who's sick."
"Uh-huh," Hunter grunts, looking very unimpressed. "C'mon, ad'ika. Let me help."
Ad'ika.
As he says that, you could hear Wolffe's voice. Your eyes dart around the room, trying to find him. But the only other person you see is a concerned Hunter looking down at you.
Logically, you knew you needed someone to help you with the bucket, and other things that may come up. Your heart clenches at how you wished it was Wolffe, or Boost, or Sinker, or Comet, or Master Plo. But deep inside you, you know that if you try to do this all by yourself, you may end up vomiting on the floor or elsewhere where you shouldn't be. You wouldn't want that.
"Fine," you concede. Your voice no longer holding the fight it had previously.
Hunter flashes you a faint smile as he leaves. Your head lolls on the pillow as your eyelids close on their own and your mind becomes blank.
You wake up once again to someone tapping your shoulder. In your hazy vision, you see Hunter holding out a bottle of water to you. Sitting up, you take it gratefully, taking a few sips. You hand it back to him before resuming your slumber.
And so under the lights of hyperspace, the cycle continued until you reached Ord Mantell. Every thirty minutes or so, Hunter would wake up after you throw up in the bucket; he would flush it before returning it to you clean. Occassionally, he would refill the bottle with water, as well.
In your delurious state, sometimes you would see Wolffe instead of Hunter moving about. And it would seep into your dreams, too. You would see the blur of grey and white armor of the Wolfpack instead of the colorful armor of the Batch. You would hear Wolffe's voice—gruff and strict—telling you to take it easy.
But as the hours tick by, you no longer see or hear anyone from the Wolfpack, whether it be in your dreams or reality. You don't see the grey and white. Instead, you see flashes of color; you see flashes of grey mixed with yellow, red, cyan, and orange. You don't hear Wolffe's strict voice, Boost and Sinker's jokes, or Master Plo's comforting advice. You hear Hunter's gruff but caring remarks, Wrecker's booming laughter, Echo's gentle reminders, Tech's steady comments, and Omega's soft greetings.
And as you arrive at Ord Mantell, you accept their assistance without protest as you disembark from the Marauder. You know that Master Plo and the 104th would always have a place in your heart, but you know now that there's room for five more colorful people.

I wanted to ask you a fic about 99 , since there is not a lot of fics about him and that most of them have a bittersweet/sad ending (involving his death) and I wanted something sweet for him, with a Jedi reader , with theses prompts , if you please 😊
Thanks a lot , and have a good day/night 💕
@griffedeloup Thank you for requesting such a lovely fic idea for our favourite clone, 99.
I hope you enjoy this.
Love oo

99 slowly moved down the hallway of Kamino as he cleaned the area close to the training rooms. He stood watching his fellow brothers running their drills. His hand held the broom a little tighter as he watched squad after squad accomplish what he couldn’t. There were times when he’d close his eyes at night, and he’d dream of running the training facility with his brothers, crouching down beside them, shooting the droids shoulder to shoulder, climbing over the barriers, and jumping for joy when they won.
A silent tear slid down his cheek as he watched group after group graduate and leave to fulfil their duties while he remained. He was nothing like them. He’d never be nothing like them.
It didn’t take the force to see how much he wanted to be a part of a team, to be included amongst his brothers.
“99?” You stood by the entrance as you saw him.
He cleared his throat before turning to look at you, “Yes, Commander?”
“99, you don’t have to call me Commander. We’re friends aren’t we?”
“I prefer calling you , Commander.”
You smiled and nodded, “Alright. So what are we watching?” You walked up beside him, looking over the railing.
“Charlie Squad.”
“How are they doing?”
“Not bad. Although it seems CT-5211 keeps trying to take charge.”
“That won’t bode well on the field. What would you do differently?”
“If I had a chance, I’d have him run his own mission, on the side. Rather than have him follow the leader. They’ll just keep budding heads.”
“Hmmmm, interesting. You have a good eye.”
“At least I have that,” he chuckled lightly.
“You know you’re appreciated and valued.”
He nodded as he limped away, “Thank you, Commander. I have to get back to my duties.”
You watched him walk away, you could feel his sadness through the force; you’ve always admired 99, even though he was different from others with his limited mobility and rapid ageing. The Kaminoans made a mistake when making 99, they claimed it was just a glitch in the system, but you had a sneaking suspicion they were trying to alter his genetic makeup.
Despite his differences he had more heart than any of the other clones you knew. You couldn’t help your smile as you watched him.
- - - - - - - - -
“99 please come to the training ground” you called for him.
“On my way, Commander.”
99 had a soft spot in his heart for you, he was fascinated when he watched you train with the cadets, as General Shaak Ti’s assistant. You were a Jedi Knight, a former padawan of General Ti’s, it was your job to train the Commanders.
He made his way to the training ground, slowly carrying his supplies. He froze when he saw you standing outside.
“Commander?”
You beamed as you looked at him, your smile reaching from one ear to the other, “Welcome 99.”
“Commander, why are you outside?”
“Well, I have a surprise for you.”
“For me?”
You nodded and motioned with your head for him to follow you, “Come on.” You both entered the training room, you stood as you watched Fox, Rex, Wolffe and Cody all standing ready for your orders, “What do you say wanna help us run a simulation?”
“Uh …” 99 looked from his brothers to you, “You… you did this for me?”
“You are part of this family.” Rex spoke moving closer.
“That’s right we’re all brothers.” Fox added.
“What do you say? Help us take down the Commander.” Cody offered holding out a blaster.
Wolff nodded as he looked at 99.
“Why did you do all this for me? I don’t deserve it. I’ve never done anything for you.” 99 tried to reason within himself. No one had done anything this kind or wonderful; he looked into your eyes, wanting to understand why you’d go to such lengths for him.
Your hand gently rested on his shoulder as you looked at him, smiling brightly, “99, you have been my friend, that in itself is a tremendous thing. I don’t have many friends in the Jedi Order. As you know my ideas aren’t viewed with the greatest welcome, but you have always been there for me, listening to my ideas even when they’re nonsense.”
“They’re not nonsense.”
“And that’s why we’re friends. So what do you say, wanna take me down with your brothers?”
99 smiled, loading the blaster with a power clip, “Locked and loaded.”
Three hours later, 99 was waving the winning flag. You smiled watching Rex and Cody lift him up, celebrating their win. It brought a smile to your face seeing him live out one of his dreams.
You saw him sitting in the locker room, smiling to himself, “Good day?” You sat beside him.
“The best. I … I can’t believe you did this when … when there’s nothing worthy about me.”
“What? Who says?”
“Everyone.”
“Well that’s not true, I don’t say that. Rex, Cody, Fox and Wolffe didn’t say that. In fact, they all appreciated what you did. Master Ti doesn’t say that either. Anyone who doesn’t see you as someone worthy is someone not worth knowing.”
“No. It’s because there isn’t anything to love about me.”
You looked at him, shaking your head, “There is always something left to love, 99. There’s plenty of you to love. You’re sweet, kind, warm, funny …” you bumped his shoulder, “it’s not about what’s on the outside, 99. It’s about what is on the inside. There’s plenty to love on the inside 99, you prove that time and time again. After all, you think there’s plenty of me to love. Right?”
- - - - - - - - - -
99 remembered that moment as the best day in his life, his only regret was that he wished he could’ve told you how much he did love you, when he heard you didn’t make it back from your mission, it had been his greatest regret. He stood in front of your portrait, one of the cadets had drawn it in honour of your passing.
“Hello cyar’ika,” 99 gently touched the portrait, “Been a while since I stopped by, things are getting out of hand, we’re getting ready for an attack on Kamino…” he let out a sigh, “I have a feeling I might be seeing you soon. You asked me once if I loved you. This is what I wanted to say but I couldn’t, ‘Do I love you? My God, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches.’ When I see you, I’ll be sure to tell you.”

Hurts right in the feels😭
idk if you’re taking requests, but if you are, can i request another padawan reader with wolffe or fox? love all that you write!!
I love writing for Wolffe so much!
“Endure”
Summary: Ever wonder what happened to Wolffe and the pack after the tragedy of killing their Jedi? Me too, but what if there was a padawan along for the ride
Pairing: Wolffe x GN padawan Reader (Platonic)
Warning: Major character death, mentions and descriptions of injury and blood, butt load of angst no happy ending yet
Word count: 1475 being proof read
Notes: I couldn’t stop thinking about these boys all day and since Wolffe didn’t show up in the bad batch I’ve been wondering- how cool would it be if their was a show like the bad batch but with Wolffe and a padawan? Welcome to the first episode
“Wouldn’t want you falling behind now Wolfy” The commander heard the taunting voice of his padawan through the comm devices. Wolffe couldn’t help but roll his eyes that the quips you were throwing at him.
“I should be the one worrying about you keeping up.” He growled back through the comms. Wolffe watched as you and a few members of the Wolffe packed speed ahead of him and the general soaring through the air.
Coming next to him now Wolffe glance to the side of his ship to catch the head shake of Master Plo
“My dear commander what will we ever do with them?” Master Plo voice rang through Wolffe ship.
“Your the one that wanted a padawan, I unfortunately got stuck with the others.” Despite his words Wolffe couldn’t control the small smirk that played on his face as he watched his pack turn all fall back into the formation they were supposed to be flying in.
“My young padawan,” master Plo caught your attention as your ship neared both of theirs. “Since you are so eager to fly why don’t you go up ahead and scout for us.”
“On it master.” The cheeriness in your voice was hard to pass up as you flashed a quick smile at Wolffe as you zipped past him.
Another eye roll and soon Wolffe good eye would go bad- maybe he did roll it a little to hard this time, a small echo of a throb hurt the side of his head.
Wolffe hands griped the wheel harder this time and if on instinct before it even registered in his mind Wolffe was opening the message of the flashing comm device.
“Commander Wolffe, Execute order 66.”
Fear struck Wolffe first as the words bounced around in his head, did he even know what that meant? As quick as a light went out Wolffe forgot his worry and as if he was controlling himself from the passenger seat he pulled his ship back.
He didn’t need to look to see if his pack had done the same, working together for so long he knew they would follow him blindly.
Nothing in Wolffe’s mind expressed any doubt for what he was about to do next, all he knew was that he was the one to pull the trigger.
A scream echoed through the comm channel, but as quickly as it started it was gone. His sharp eye tracked the burning heap of a ship until it crashed into the ground bellow.
Did he regret it? Something in his mind whispered to him that he just shot down his general, one of his closet friends, his buir. A louder more dominant voice in his mind repeated over and over- kill the treasonous Jedi.
“Find and kill the padawan.” Wolffe snapped to his brothers as they all made their way to where they saw you disappear. Wolffe would find you, he had too.
Something wasn’t right- you happily flew out into the horizon. The thought of the war finally being over plagued your mind and you couldn’t help but think about what it’d be like when everything went back to normal.
No good things can last forever. A searing pain seemed like a title wave in your head, you wobbled for a moment trying to straighten out the ship.
Noise erupted throughout the force in an instant and only got louder and louder. Every word yelled seemed to blend and swirl together- all except one voice you knew too well.
“Master?” You spoke aloud seeing if you could reach him but static filled the air. A lump formed at the pit of your stomach and your vision wavered again. The force didn’t feel as it normally should, it was darker now.
“Wolffe what’s going on?” You tried the only other person who you knew could help you.
You looked over your shoulder as you were about to turn around and head back to see exactly what was going on when your eyes landed on the packs ships that were inbound.
A sigh reached your trembling lips as they grew closer and closer to your ever slowing ship- they would know what to do, especially if your master somehow…
Something made your spine itch as you watched your pack close in nearly reaching your position, no these weren’t the boys you knew. A darker aurora bleed into the once homey feeling of the 104th, it made you sick.
Without second thought you raced over the landscape followed closely in tow by Wolffe and his boys. The first shot fired upon you confirmed your ever growing fear. They were trying to attack you.
Blaster bolts upon blaster bolts rained against your ship, in an instant with a last ditch effort serve the wings engine was hit and the ground was coming at you a lot quicker than you wished.
Would you die knowing that your own men, your brothers killed you in cold blood- something had to be wrong with them, they would choose to do this.
Or would they?
The fighter hit the ground with a bang jolting you in your seat, pieces broke apart as the ship began the skid to a stop barely even recognizable as a ship anymore.
With one more attempt to open your eyes you watched as a piece of metal and rumbled fell along the glass window of the fighter. It cracked like a bolt of lightning across the sky, but the sight didn’t register in your mind as your head throbbed with pain and the sweet relief of unconsciousness took you in its hold
“Fighter shot down sir.” The deadpan voice of Sinker spoke to Wolffe. He watched the ship hit the ground, the wad of smoke was a good sign that there would be no survivors but Wolffe wasn’t a fool.
“I want to see the bodies, or we can assume the jetti survived understand?” His tone was harsh as he circled high above where your ship dropped only minutes ago.
As half of his squad went back to the first wreckage Wolffe and the rest started there descent to the world below.
Smoke filled the air and Wolffe had to stifle a cough under his helmet, his hands wouldn’t give up as he dug through the rubble.
“Sir over here.” Someone yelled for Wolffe as he quickly made his way over.
“That doesn’t look like a body to me trooper.” Wolffe spoke with such venom in his voice the shiny took a step backwards.
“Well sir we found this buried under this pile here,” The soldier paused for a moment handing Wolffe a arm brace, and what seemed to be half of a chest plate and shoulder guard. The symbol of the Jedi order haunted his vision. “The rock and metal is too heavy for us to lift on our own, and the fire makes it difficult.”
Wolffe knew what they were saying, stop their search and wait further instructions elsewhere- the maker knew he wanted to get out of this place quickly.
With a sigh and an eye roll Wolffe brought the armor down to him side before speaking lowly. “Take the men and head back to bass, see if the others can confirm their kill and wait there.”
“Your not coming commander?” Another voice asked.
“I want to make sure our work is finished.” Wolffe turned him back quickly on his men, maybe he should continue his search where the remains of a Jedi were strewn about but something else called to him.
The noise of ships taking off yet again filled his senses and only when they were gone did Wolffe start his dig once again.
His hand nearly went through a layer of broken glass as he pulled away. More smoke seemed to pour out of this hole when he turned his light on on the side of his helmet.
Wolffe scanned the shadowed room, a siren that wasn’t silenced in the crash kept blaring as Wolffe stuck his head inside.
That’s when the commander caught sight of a figure laying unnaturally towards the bottom of the broken ship. He recognized you immediately.
What part of him wanted to cry out when he saw you? Was it the old Wolffe, commander of the Wolffepack, or was it the quieted version of Wolffe he still has yet to understand.
Wolffe Face got closer and close taking in the sight- did he really do this, he was just following orders.
Good soldiers follow orders.
The slightest movement caught his well trained eyes, the up and down of your stomach was faint and Wolffe almost didn’t believe what he was seeing. You were still breathing.
You were still alive.
A hum of sorts took over in Wolffe brains as it had done before.
Within a blink Wolffe pulled out his blaster.

Headcanon: Being Shaak Ti’s padawan would include …
Type: Headcanons; GN! Reader Character(s): Shaak Ti, 501st, 212th, Wolfpack, Bad Batch, Omega, Clones in general Notes: I like the concept of a story as Shaak Ti’s padawan, I was thinking about writing a reader-insert about it. Would you be interested?
Despite her reputation as an admirable Jedi Master, Shaak Ti’s views on attachments would probably be anything but respected by the Council.
Shaak Ti gets motherly feelings just by looking at the Cadets or Omega, so you better be ready because once this woman sets her eyes on her new padawan, your fate will pretty much sealed as her newly adopted child.
Whatever you accomplish, whether it may be small such as motivating yourself to get out of bed or teaching a cadet a trick up to striking down a clanker or saving a clone's life, she’ll be the proudest Togruta in the entire universe.
The clones? They adore you. Shaak Ti is the most respected Jedi among Kamino, maybe even the most adored person among the clones there overall. The troopers admire her treatment and kindness, seeing a parental figure in her, a mother they never had the chance to know. Whomever she likes must be just as lovable then!
As Shaak Ti's padawan, all of Tipoca City knows your name by now. Wherever you go, you'll be greeted by the troopers with a bright smile and once they stop at Kamino after a mission, you'll be one of the few things they'll look forward to.
By now, you can pretty much distinguish all legions for their own unique charisma and cooperation among each other.
The 501st is cheerful and humorous; despite their clumsy and chaotic temper, they work together flawlessly. You'll be swarmed with stories, jokes and even some flirtatious attempts on Jesse's & Fives' account, physical love language such as hugs and handshakes, pretty much treated like one of their own. The Domino Squad especially appreciate you, being one of the very first squads you'd had the chance to accompany. Captain Rex will not even dare to leave your side; he says it’s because he doesn’t want his brothers to overwhelm you but really, he just adores you just as much and feels a kind of safety being close to you.
The 212th on the other is a lot calmer and neat, greeting you politely like they would any commander, but with a warm, grateful undertone. Some, like Waxer and Boil, will even bring you something from their missions, little objects and snacks they found. You’ll have Cody sitting with you during lunch and exchange with him about what you’ve experienced while he was away while he tells you all about the silly moments he witnessed with General Kenobi.
The Wolfpack are like a pack of puppies seeing the master again. The second they see you, they will forget everything around them, all attention now on you, whimpering and whining until they’re dismissed by Wolffe and allowed greet you. Speaking of our favourite commander, he will stand quietly and wordlessly beside you like a guard dog, waiting until the coast is clear to let his guard down and warmly greet you himself.
When it comes to the more unique clone forces, such as the Bad Batch, they’ll likely be able to spend more time with you once they’re on Kamino simply because they’re so small in number. The moment the Marauder lands and the four troopers are off the shuttle, you’ll be squeezed in a tight hug by Wrecker as soon as he gets the chance to. Due to their unique nature and different way of life, the connection you’ll have formed to them will be much more personal and likely seen as mostly unorthodox but that doesn’t matter to them, nor to you or Shaak Ti. Surprisingly enough, sometimes you can even see the ghost of a smile flickering on Crosshair’s face when you approach him after their return from another tough mission. And that means something!
The time between helping out Shaak Ti with the clones’ training and supervising the cadets is usually spent with none other than Omega, Nala Se’s apprentice, who, just like you, tends to feel a bit out of place among all the troopers so it’s nice to exchange with someone who feels similarly every now and then. She sees you as a big sibling, someone she can trust her emotions with and you sincerely return those very feelings.
Seeing you interact so well and kindly with all the clones leaves your master’s heart swelling with joy. She really couldn’t ask for a better student.

Can I request Commander Wolffe x reader, who's a Jedi knight and Plo Koon's former padawan? Reader is from an alien race that can turn into a giant wolf and shares a gentle nature toward the clones like their master. Reader is also an absolute fighting unit and tall (Like a gentle giant) Bonus if reader uses their enhanced sense of smell to locate things and finds Wolffe's scent most pleasant. What if reader uses their wolf form to warm up Wolffe and his brothers when they get trapped in some snow planet? (You can put fem! reader if gender has to be specific. )
(omg this is such a cute idea! also this is my first ever Star Wars piece with one of my favourite copy paste men?? so excited <33 this is also sort of a pre-relationship build up thing, so if you'd like me to do a follow up I'd be more than happy to! hope you enjoy!)
(Wolffe x gender neutral reader (can be read as platonic) - warning for brief mentions of fighting, no detail though)
His general is the one to introduce the two of you, Master Plo stating that his former padawan would be 'shadowing' until they were assigned their own battalion.
Wolffe had an immediate respect for you - your sweet smile and offer of a handshake were somewhat unusual, since many of the higher ups chose to keep their distance from the clones where they could help it, but you seemed genuine, so he returned the handshake and nodded politely.
Your introduction alone made it very clear that you had trained under Master Plo. Your temperament was very similar, with the same aura of patience, kindness and wisdom that the general had.
You also seemed eager to get to know the soldiers you were serving with, making sure to remember all of their names and asking questions about them.
The Wolfpack responded well to you, Wolffe had to admit. While he was somewhat hesitant having a new face around, it was good to see his men's morale so high.
They all seemed to trust you and your abilities. While he knew not to underestimate you, especially given your towering height, he would not be convinced completely until he saw you fight.
The first callout to battle had you buzzing with anticipation, and Wolffe watched you warily as you whispered something to the general, to which he shook his head in response.
There was no time to wonder though, as your ship soon touched down and you were thrust onto the battlefield not long after.
You didn't remember the name of the planet, but it was layered in snow, and the glow of blaster bolts and lightsabers was all that guided you in the blizzard you had landed in.
Everything was moving so quickly, and you did your best to put yourself between your men and the enemy fire wherever you could, but it soon became clear that they would overwhelm you in this weather. The more men you saw fall to the ground, the more your hope fell.
You couldn't see well enough in this form. You knew that, the general knew that. Plo Koon had told you not to shift unless it was a last resort, you had asked on the way there - though with the enemy fire now surrounding you, surely this counted?
A quick nod from him confirmed your thinking and, while your former master gave Wolffe the most warning he could, you shifted into wolf form.
It was relieving, to suddenly have your senses be so sharp when you could barely tell where you were stood seconds earlier, and you were easily able to tell where the enemy horde stood. There were stragglers in other directions, but they were soon picked off by the clones.
Your attackers were clearly startled by your transformation (reasonable enough), but their moment's hesitation was enough to allow you to spring forward and send the majority scattering with a sweep of one enormous paw. You felt your claws tear through some, and the ones left intact were swiftly finished off with your teeth. Any that were smart enough to run didn't make it far either.
The sounds of blaster fire ceased once your swift massacre had ended, and you slowly padded across the snow, lifting your nose to the air to find the only ones left were your men.
Far fewer of your men than you would've liked.
Plo Koon watched with mirth in his eyes as you approached the clones, their expressions fixed in awe, aside from Wolffe, who seemed uncharacteristically nervous.
You supposed you couldn't blame him. But still, to will him to trust you, you lay down in front of him, blood-stained muzzle pressed into the snow at his feet while he stared, perplexed, down at you.
"They are still aware in this form, Commander. You need not worry."
The comforting words from the general seemed to placate Wolffe momentarily, then he turned to you.
"We must find shelter quickly. We'll never make it back to the ship with so many injured."
You dipped your head in understanding, and gestured south. It seemed like a smudge on the horizon to the others, but you could make out the silhouettes and smell the scent of the forest enough to know it was your best option.
Not having a better choice, they agreed to follow you, and those still standing began helping up the injured clones. Seeing this, you huffed and nodded at your back.
Plo nodded in understanding. "They will carry the injured. We can move faster that way."
Wolffe, still watching you warily, started helping the others climb onto your back, not willing to waste time even in his distrust. He could ask questions later, but the general trusted you, so he could too.
Moving in this form was certainly faster, and it was not long before you were amidst a cluster of trees and helping down the clones on your back. It wasn't perfect, but you were more shielded from the blizzard.
Wolffe and the general were at the back of the pack, ensuring you weren't followed. They didn't seem confident in the condition of the men, and you tilted your head in question.
The commander looked up at you, seemingly frustrated. "We have no supplies. We'll freeze if we stay here."
You huffed in reply and padded over behind the cluster of injured clones, laying down and using your nose to nudge them closer to your fur. Some of them nestled closer to your warmth on instinct, and you looked back at Wolffe expectantly.
"You can't be serious..."
Comet in particular seemed to be happy with this arrangement though, and quickly dove into your mountain of fur beside his brothers.
Plo patted Wolffe on the shoulder and urged him to sit, humming in amusement at the look on his face as you draped your tail over the small group of clones.
You were... useful. Wolffe couldn't deny that. Useful and very, very warm.
As he drifted to sleep far faster than usual, he thought maybe he could get used to this...

Scars (Commander Wolffe x Jedi Reader) Part 1
Words: 2.7k Warning: Implied injury - stubborn, suspicious Wolffe - Bit of fluff Pronouns Use: She/Her - (Y/N)
Everything seemed normal enough when (Y/N) arrived at the temporary military base the 104th and Master Plo had set up. The command center had the perfect tactical advantage, a view of the battlefield, but at a safe distance, it couldn't be easily attacked. A perimeter had been set up, with an airfield, ensuring all those coming and going would be safe. Next to the commander center were the barracks, mess hall, medbay, and weapons depo, all perfectly organized.
Plo had met (Y/N) at her designated landing bay; he greeted his former padawan in a similar manner to his warm greeting to Ahsoka. Full of care, fatherly and warm. His words to follow the same and filled with gentleness and wise advice. Almost as if he knew there would be an instant coldness between his former Padawan and his trusted Commander. After all, Wolffe had made his destain almost hatred for the Children of Dathomir plain, and (Y/N) would be the first Night Sister he would truly be dealing with since Ventress had taken his eye.
The hours after her arrival hadn't been much trouble either. Wolffe hadn't been seen, normally preoccupied with other tasks that come with being Commander. On the other hand, the other troopers had greeted her with friendliness and curiosity. Boost, Comet, and Sinket had been the first three to approach, neither of them being afraid to voice their questions or try their hand at flirting. One by one, others came by with a hello and the intention of introducing themselves; neither one acted like she was any different from the other Jedi they worked with. Instead, the one to point out her obvious Dathomirian features was the Civvi Medic assigned to the 104th; the other Wolffe seemed to avoid like the plague or growled if they had to interact. Although to be fair, the petite woman did seem to avoid the commander just as much, normally shaking with fear and likely unspoken judgment when attending to him.
When the afternoon was slowly turning to dusk, (Y/N) left the safety of the perimeter, hoping to find a quiet area nearby to meditate; being extremely attuned to the force, the unheard voices were loud in the base, as were the flood of emotions threatening to overwhelm her. (Y/N) clumsiness had led her to discover the unstable ground, leading to cave chasms that went down for miles; the darkness seemed to swallow everything that fell down it, even the glow sticks meant to offer light.
Making a mental note of the undesirable drop and likely death trap hidden within the endless shadows (Y/N) found a flat rocky surface to sit upon; there, she shifted until she was comfortable and began to meditate or attempt it. Within minutes of finding peaceful mindfulness, she had sensed another heading her way, navigating the minefield of unstable ground and dropping to uncertainty. Upon realizing the approaching intruder wasn't someone she recognized, she instinctively reached for her lightsabers, prepared to defend herself if needed, although she had hoped it wouldn't get that far.
As if sensing something was off, (Y/N) opened her eyes, surveying the area in her proximity, although she did not see anything out of the ordinary. The rocks from the nearby cliff rushed down the drop from the wind left behind by the passing ships; the land around seemed to stretch for miles, and the droid army seemed to be struggling to rebuild their own commander center far into the distance. A planned surprise attack was unlikely to be on their agenda just yet.
"Careful, the ground ..." started (Y/N), finally seeing who the intruder was. Commander Wolffe. His low growls had cut off her line of thought and subsequent words. His stiff shoulders and crossed arms over his chest made it clear he wasn't in the mood to converse with her. Although it was rather obvious, he followed her. The question was whether that was entirely out of concern, suspicion, or something else.
"You left the base," he stated, his voice direct and to the point, although void of all emotion, matching his cold demeanor.
"Well noticed," (Y/N) replied, failing to stop the sarcasm before it could fall from her lips. Although she held back the chuckle that threatened to follow it upon sensing the eye roll, Wolffe sent her from beneath his modified helmet.
"Why?" asked the commander, although frustration and annoyance rang through his voice this time, once again suggesting he'd literally rather be anywhere but in her presence.
"To meditate," she commented, returning the annoyance and frustration presented to her, although the Jedi Knight at least tried to keep a neutral expression, even in the face of judgment and unwarranted hostility. "I'm not fretting with the enemy, Commander. I just needed quiet; the emotions and voices can be overwhelming."
"That's what your quarters are for," he uttered in a quick response, drawing an eye roll from (Y/N) as she climbed down from her position on the flat lump of rocks. Refusing to utter another word, she began to walk away from the Commander, further away from the base, hoping to find another quiet place to continue her meditation. A sigh quickly escaped her upon sensing Wolffe was once again following her, although this time only a few feet behind.
"Woah!" yelled Wolffe upon the ground, cracking and giving away like thin ice the moment he stomped on it. He expected to fall helpless into the darkness, but instead, he'd stopped in mid-air, just dangling. The force someone was using the force to prevent him from falling to certain doom. Immediately, Wolffe presumed it was General Plo, the ever-caring fatherly figure. Confusion took over when Wolffe looked up to see (Y/N) trying her hardest to use her power to bring him to safety, a concentrated look painted on her features, determination mixed in. "It's cracking," called the Commander upon noticing the ground beneath her about to give way.
But by the time his words reached her, both of them were falling. All Wolffe could do was flay his limps and yell out as the darkness swallowed him. He hit several rocks and other hard surfaces on the way down before the fall ended with a loud, wet splash into the freezing waters of an underground lake. He soon climbed out of the water, resting on the rocky bank, looking up with the hope of seeing daylight, only to be met with the unyielding darkness that seemed to go on forever. With a heavy, frustrated sigh, he began to assess the damage to his armor. The chest plate had been cracked, and a shoulder and forearm plate shattered to the point of being unless.
Just as he was about to continue, his attention was drawn to the lightsaber lying by the rocks of the bank close by. The hilt was mainly black with silver decoration; it appeared damaged and stained with something. Just as Wolffe was about to question who it belonged to, his heart sank upon recalling the ground cracking.
"Nightsister," called Wolffe, a prang of guilt flooding him as he regretted his refusal to learn her name. "Nightsister," he called again, pushing the fear away when no answer came. However, that sudden wave of fear grew upon noticing the lightsaber hilt was stained with blood. The realization hit him: she was injured and had been by selflessly trying to save him from the fall. Ignoring his own pain and obvious injuries, Wolffe got to wobbly feet and slowly began to shuffle forward across the bank in the hopes of seeing the Jedi who'd tried to prevent his fall.
He hoped she was ignoring him; after all, he'd ignore someone calling him if they treated him as he'd done with her, but the more he searched, the more he called out Nightsister in an attempt to locate her. The feeling of dread gripped him. What if she wasn't ignoring him? Could she be injured? Was she even in the same part of the cave as him? Did she even fall down the chasm in the first place?
"She's not in the cave with you, Wolffe," muttered Wolffe, his voice as cold as the lake he'd landed in. As he began to shiver, about to give up, the commander noticed something. A trail of blood, it was fresh; someone had landed there and was trying to hide, injured. "Nightsister," called Wolffe again, this time softer than before, quieter as if trying to convey he wasn't a threat despite his previous demeanor and actions. "I'm not going to hurt you," he called, realizing if she was injured, she likely believed whomever she was trapped with was trying to harm her. He'd been the same after Ventures had slashed out his eye. Even General Plo was considered an enemy in his mind. Anyone with a lightsaber had been for a short time.
"Wolffe," came a quiet voice, no louder than a whisper. But in the quietness of the cave, it was loud enough for the Commander to hear to locate her. Hearing his name fall from her lips only made his guilt grow. She knew his name and took the time to learn it instead of calling him by his identification number or his rank of Commander. And he'd refused to learn anything about her after learning she was a Child of Dathomir. "Are you hurt?" she asked, her voice heavy with deep breaths filled with pain; she was hurt but refused to admit it.
"Not as bad as you, Ca'tra," answered Wolffe, grimacing as he moved to sit beside her, holding her lightsaber out as if to return it. Slowly, he surveyed the extent of her injuries, almost horrified. Several joints had been dislocated, a large gash stretched across her side, and a nasty laceration now adorned the side of her head. There was little doubt she'd suffered broken bones as well.
"Sorry about your landing," (Y/N) whispered. "It was either that or impaled on the rock spires," she added, lifting a shaky hand to point in the general direction of the spires in question. "There's a small med kit in my pack," she instructed, being thankful she'd been wise enough to have a pack ready for emergencies. Inside was a medical kit, water, ration bars, glow sticks, other forms of light, and another communicator in case the one attached to her arm was damaged.
"Stay awake, Ca'tra," voiced Wolffe, softness beginning to take over, as was the worry and concern. In the minutes since finding her, her eyes had glazed over, and she was slowly losing consciousness. "Talk to me," he added, reaching for the pack and its scattered contents, a renewed sense of determination. She saved him twice in a matter of minutes, with little regard for her own safety or well-being. She suffered because of it. He had to repay the debt he felt he owed her.
"Ca'tra," (Y/N) tiredly responded, confusion just about present through the pain. "What does it mean?" she asked, looking to Wolffe with glazed-over eyes, a grimace quickly flashing across her features upon pain tormenting her further.
"Night sky," admitted Wolffe, deeming it be better to call her that than Nightsister. Especially now when he was beginning to wonder if calling her by Nightsister was offensive in some way. "I don't know your name," he added, shame washing through his whispered voice. Swearing under his breath when he dropped the contents of the medkit, his hands shaking so much from the cold. In his rushed attempt to collect all the items, he hadn't noticed (Y/N) reach for the stem cell injections. Although she did hold out the bacta gel
"(Y/N)," she spoke in response, not arguing when the call of sleep as it became too persistent to fight, too strong to ignore. She hadn't been given the chance to say she liked the small nickname. The small kindness meant something to her, even if it didn't mean anything to Wolffe.
"(Y/N), wake up," called Wolffe upon grabbing her shoulders to shake her. The shakes had been little more than light nudges, hoping to prevent her from falling asleep, but gotten rougher upon the Commander realizing she'd already fallen for the lure of the peaceful oblivion. "You're not getting away from me that easy, Ca'tra," he added, remembering he had the bacta gel. Upon applying a generous amount to her wounds, he turned his attention to his own and his previous task of assessing the damage to his armor.
"Little (Y/N), Commander Wolffe," spoke the wise and welcome voice of Master Plo, concern flooding his otherwise fatherly voice. Wolffe quickly grabbed (Y/N)'s arm, puzzled by how the small communications device was still intact, let alone working. "(Y/N), Wolffe, can either of you hear me?" asked Plo, his voice fuzzy now, as if he'd moved away from the area.
"I read you, General," spoke Wolffe, relief ringing in his own voice, mixing with his concern and pain.
"Are you okay? Is (Y/N) with you?" questioned Plo, likely already realizing the ground had given way. Although where was the question? Once again, Wolffe focused on looking up, hoping to see some sort of light that would say how far down they were, whether from the sky so far above them or the light of a rescue ship. But again, was greeted with nothing but empty darkness.
"We're both pretty banged up; I would have been worse off if she hadn't pushed me out the way," admitted the Commander, thankful for her selflessness but still feeling guilty. Even more so upon the realization hitting him, she'd put herself in far more danger by forcing him away from the spires and towards the freezing lake. "She's currently unconscious and needs immediate medical attention," he added with haste, once again reaching to gently shake her with the hopes she'd wake up, again being met with no response.
"Keep the communicator on; we'll use it to track your position," stated Plo, the authority now ringing in his voice, likely to mask the growing concern and worry for his commander and former padawan.
"Come on, Ca'tra, wake up. Help is coming," started Wolffe, finally removing his helmet and allowing his eyes to adjust to the dim light of the glow sticks. Finally, he noticed his visor had been broken during the fall and a gash towards the bottom of the scraped helmet. "Why did you save me? Why would you risk your own life like that? I'm just a clone; only my brothers and General Plo would care if something happened to me," he mumbled, not hearing the ow to escape (Y/N)'s lips or even notice she'd barely regained consciousness.
"Wrong. I care," she whispered with a broken voice, startling the Commander trapped with her.
"But ... but I was cold to you ... harsh ... unfair," stammered Wolffe as he attempted to put his scrambled thoughts into words and overcome the shock; not only had she heard his words but answered with the last thing he'd expected to hear. She cared despite everything.
"I know," replied (Y/N), trying her hardest to show her understanding. "I understand why you were quick to judge me. Fear can be cruel even to the toughest of men. I do not blame you for it. No one does. That was your way of dealing with the trauma, to ensure it wouldn't happen again," she replied, recalling her similar response to trauma as a child. She'd been incorporated into the order the same year Anakin Skywalker had joined the Jedi. She was ignored and judged with fear because of something she had no control over.
She'd lost everything, and just when she had settled into what would be her new life. Things had gotten worse; someone had taken her from the temple and hurt her. Someone she should have been able to trust. Her rescuers had been far kinder. A pair of renowned bounty hunters, Cad Bane and Jango Fett. They saw her as the scared and broken child she was rather than the threat she'd been treated as.
"I lost trust in the council a long time ago. Blamed myself for what happened," she breathed in response; a pained chuckle escaped her lips upon seeing the confusion written across Wolffe's bruised features. "If it wasn't for the efforts of Master Plo and a few others. I likely wouldn't be civil with the majority of them," admitted (Y/N), although refusing to relive what happened all those years ago by talking about it. Not that she could. Chancellor Palpatine had locked all files about the incident and her life before the Jedi. Reasoning it was for her own safety and to prevent what happened repeating again.

18 — Moving Forward
Hiding In Plain Sight
← Previous - Next →
Pairing: Commander Wolffe x reader
Word Count: 3.9k
Warnings: PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attack, nsfw, slight fem!dom, cream pie
Summary: The war drags on. You struggle in finding your place in the teams newer dynamics. Wolffe struggles with his mental health.
Things have been different since your return to service. Obviously everyone is overjoyed to have you back but there have been some noticeable differences these last few weeks. And it’s beginning to bother you.
For starters, Dr Faragian completely rearranged your office. Technically it was his during your prolonged, and what he was confident would be permanent, absence. But it still irritated you that you had to force him to vacate the space and spend an afternoon returning everything to the way you had it before. You had hoped that once your reassignment was solidified he would be transferred to another team in need of a medic, but still he managed to linger with the team.
The war seems to have gone from an eerie silence due to the crisis to an endless barrage of battles and high skill operations. A part of you had dared to hope that the common enemy of The Shadow Plague would unite the Confederacy and the Republic. Surely the extreme loss felt on both sides could create some kind of understanding or sympathy. Or open some kind of communication in preventing something like it from happening. There would be no such thing. Such compassion is far too level headed and vulnerable during war, at least that’s what you thought the senate might say about it.
Instead, things seem to be even more divided than before, even within the Republic. A few weeks after you got back, you sat with Slush on guard duty around a campfire on some backwater planet. You mentioned how much everything has changed and how tense things have seemed lately.
“It’s worse than you know Doc” he said, gazing into the flames “The Jedi temple on Coruscant was bombed while you were in recovery”
“Really? I didn’t hear anything about it. What happened?”
“At first people thought it was a direct attack, ya know. The Separatists bombing the Jedi temple hoping to take out some of the major generals” You nod along. “But it wasn’t. It was General Luminara’s padawan”
You were shocked and confused to hear that. “Ahsoka’s friend?”
Slush grimaces at her name and looks away from you. You’ve never seen him act like this. “Slush?”
“Ahsoka was on trial for the attack and for killing the only witness. She ran when they tried to arrest her” he says, his voice catching in his throat for a moment “We were on Coruscant at the time… General Skywalker and General Plo Koon are some of her closest friends. So their squadrons were assigned to bring her in”
“What the fuck? What happened? Why has no one told me?” You demand, struggling to keep your voice down. Your head swims with confusion and disappointment.
“It looked bad at the time Doc. There was strong evidence against her, she ran instead of trying to explain. It was fucked up. I didn’t want to believe it, but we had orders” Slush bites the inside of his cheek, and glares down at his boots “When we found her, she was working with Ventress to hide. Think about how that looked to us Doc. Seeing Ventress again, after what happened to the Commander”
You’re stunned. Ahsoka. Ventress. The attack. The team's involvement. All of it. You want to think he’s lying to you. This can’t be real. And if it is, why had no one said anything, it happened months ago. You look to the tents around you, where your brothers in arms all lay sleeping. Not a single one of them told you that any of this happened. You don’t say anything.
“It was a rough night. Wolffe took a pretty hard hit from Ventress. After all of it, she fucking got away” Slush says bitterly “Anyway. Ahsoka didn’t do it. Of course she didn’t. But the Jedi convicted her on false proof and she couldn’t forgive that. So she left”
“She left? Left Coruscant?” You ask.
“She left the order. No one’s seen her or heard from her” Slush sighs “I wish I had gotten to apologize to her. To say goodbye”
You’re angry and hurt and confused. She’s gone. She’s gone and no one said a damn thing. Slush is your closest friend. And Wolffe… “She was my friend too, Slush. Someone should have told me. Why would you guys keep this from me?”
“You were doing so well in recovery, we didn’t want to set you back. I’m sorry.” Slush says heavily “And we were given direct orders not to tell anyone. The Jedi are trying to cover up what happened. No holo communications, logs, files, messages, nothing. It’s bad enough I’m saying this out loud, I could be court-martialed for this”
“Stars… this is so fucked up.” You put your head in your hands and shake your head. Quiet settles between the two of you for a few long moments. The night air is filled by the crackling of the burning logs and the gentle wind in the trees.
“You said Wolffe took a bad hit from Ventress. Is he okay? Did Dr Useless fix him up alright?” You ask quietly.
“We were on Coruscant and the 501st were already there, he just went to Kix to get looked at. It wasn’t that bad. I think he was more messed up on the inside though, ya know?” He says, glancing behind him towards his commander’s tent. “He’s happy to have you back with us, but he hasn’t been himself lately”
You know what he means. It’s the biggest difference you’ve noticed since your return, and the only one that’s really bothering you, Wolffe.
You were used to him being a little grumpy from time to time before. But ever since you got back he’s been more moody than usual. At times it feels like he’s avoiding you… and others like he can’t stand to be more than two feet away.
You thought it would pass after a week or two. Maybe if you got a night alone together you could get things back on track and start feeling normal again. Only, you haven’t had the chance to have alone time of any kind since getting back.
Maybe keeping this secret had to do with it, a guilty conscience. Or shame that Ventress got away again. It could be any number of things. But things would never get better if you don’t get the chance to talk to him.
The mission is complete and the next one begins. Over and over again, the cycle continues. One afternoon you sit alone in your office on The Radiant, catching up on messages and filing appointment notes.
Your quiet focus is interrupted by a knock at the door.
“Come in” you call out, the door slides open and Wolffe steps inside, letting it close behind him.
“Hi” you smile
“Busy?” He asks, glancing at the spread of data pads and flimsi on your desk
“Not terribly” you turn off the data pad “I can always make time for you, Commander”
He chuckles under his breath and crosses the short distance between the door and your desk, coming around to meet you as you stand.
His lips are warm and familiar, and you sink into his arms that cradle your head and waist. When he releases your lips, he doesn’t go far, resting his forehead against yours.
“Are you on shift tonight in the medical bay?” He asks
“No” you shake your head against him “I was hoping we could get some time together tonight actually”
He lifts his head and looks at you “Wish granted” he leans in to kiss you again. But before he gets the chance his com starts chirping.
He sighs and takes a step back, “One of these days I’m going to smash this thing just to get a moment's peace” he grumbles before turning away to answer.
You stay quiet and sit back down at your desk, waiting for him to wrap up the conversation. When he’s finished he turns back to you. He cups your cheek and leans down to give you one more kiss before he leaves.
“I’ll see you later tonight” you promise him. He nods and with that he goes.
You’re excited the rest of the day. Thinking about finally getting to spend time with him again. You can’t even remember how long it has been since the two of you got to spend an hour alone together. Too long, the answer is too long.
Wolffe can’t stop thinking about it either. He’s been itching to see you since you got back. Mission assignments keep coming in. Hours on duty feel longer and longer every day. When he can get a bit of free time, you’re on duty or busy. Things just haven’t been lining up.
It doesn’t help that he hasn’t been sleeping well the last few months, even with your return. Wolffe dreads sleep. Laying alone in the dark. Waiting for the headaches of his day to day to fade into the twisted nightmares from the past.
He tries to think of you instead. He tries to list as many things he can about you. The way you take your caf. Your favorite foods. The color of your eyes. The many many things you have planned to show him when you can. The shape of your nose and the way you smile. The sound of your laugh. He wonders if you can sing, he’s never heard you sing before.
It usually works, at least to get him to fall asleep. Except that it puts you at the forefront of his mind and in the way when the nightmares come.
At times he sees the carnage on Atraken. Other times the piercing, repetitive beeping of the medical equipment that kept you alive for months rings endlessly in his ears. Sometimes he wakes up in a cold sweat and his scar throbbing, though he still has no real memories of the day he got it.
It's gotten harder and harder to think about you as the months have gone by. Everything reminds him of watching you wither away in your sickbed in Theed. Or feel immensely guilty for thinking of the happier times you’ve had together at The Silver Star on Coruscant. It seems for every happy thought or memory that tries to lift his spirits, two dark or disturbing feelings beat it back down.
He hopes that tonight will fix things. Getting to be alone with you, to touch you, kiss you, feel you, truly see you as you are; healthy and strong again. Maybe that will chase off his feelings of guilt and hopelessness.
These thoughts and fears swirl like vortex clouds in his mind while he removes the last of his armor. He hears the door slide open and looks up. There you are, stepping in quickly and letting the door seal shut behind you. Your eyes sparkle, unable to hide your excitement.
“I haven’t gotten to sneak in here in a while” you grin “I feel like a cadet sneaking off base”
“You did a lot of sneaking out? You never struck me as a delinquent Doc” he smirks, tossing his vambrace onto the haphazard pile of plastoid armor.
“I’ve been known to be a bit naughty from time to time” you smirk, leaning in to steal a kiss. He chuckles against you and kisses back, bringing the heat and intensity you were hoping for. You shed your uniform jacket quickly, and push him back a bit on the bed to make room for you. He obliges and takes hold of your hips when you straddle him.
Your hands seem to glide over his skin. He’s thought often of your hands in these last few months. Strong hands that hit hard when you’re sparring. Gentle hands that he has dreamed of caressing his face and massaging his aches. Capable hands that have saved lives, more lives than he can count. Cold hands. Cold clammy hands laying limp in his own, as he watched you wither away.
Suddenly he is not focused on your hands touching him in this moment. Or even your lips he’s craved for months. He swallows the lump forming in his throat. His heart feels heavy. Like a battering ram hitting his chest with every beat. Cold sweat beads on his neck and forehead. Panic. He feels panic creeping up his spine. Like a prey animal about to be mauled. He jerks away suddenly, his breath catching in his throat.
“I… I can’t” he stammers
“What’s wrong?” You pull back a little “Are you okay?”
He squeezes his eyes shut, as if he’s trying to block out a bright light or bare down to withstand a painful blow. He tries to take deeper breaths but can’t seem to exhale properly before drawing another breath.
You sit back on your heels, taking stock of this sudden change. He seemed fine just a second ago.
“Wolffe” you say gently, your hand sliding up the back of his neck and carding your fingers through his hair “Breathe with me”
You take his hand, leading it up to your chest and hold it there while you take deep breaths for him to copy. He follows your instruction, eyes still shut. In and out. In and out. In and out. He listens to your breaths and feels the rise and fall under his finger tips.
When his breathing evens out a bit, you press yourself in closer to him, meeting his forehead with yours. Your fingertips scratch lightly at his scalp. You stay quiet, keeping your eyes closed and continuing to maintain your even breaths.
“M’ sorry” he says “I want to. But I just can’t”
“It’s okay” you say softly “We can just relax”
“That’s the problem. I can’t fucking relax. I can’t get my mind to shut up” he says through gritted teeth, as his cold sweat is replaced by a hot flush of shame.
You pull back from him, sliding your hand to his cheek “Tell me” you encourage him with a nod “Tell me what is bothering you”
“It doesn’t matter what I do. Anything I try. I can’t stop these… intrusive thoughts” he begins “I’m running in a drill formation, and I’m running from the clankers. I’m completing a combat simulation, and I’m fighting Ventress. I’m writing a report, and I’m seeing the mutilation on Atraken. I’m kissing you, and the ventilator is screaming at me in my head”
You nod and listen. You’ve experienced this too, nightmares and flashbacks of what you saw on the medical frigate on Atraken. The gruesome wounds and deaths you’ve witnessed during the war. Even Wolffe’s injury on Khorm haunts you from time to time. Though not as much as him it would seem.
“I can’t sleep. I feel weak. I feel hopeless. I feel fucking ridiculous for feeling like this” he shakes his head and does not meet your eye.
“You’re not. You know you’re not Wolffe” you reassure him gently.
“Then why can’t I make it stop? I can’t stop thinking about letting Ventress get away after what she took from me. Can’t stop thinking about what we did to Ahsoka. I can’t leave that hospital room. Every time I close my eyes I see it. I see you” his voice wavers, holding back.
Your heart breaks hearing this. Slush was right about him being messed up on the inside
“I’m here honey. I’m right here with you” you nod, feeling your own eyes stinging with tears.
“I know” he squeezes your hands “I know you’re here. You’re right here in front of me. You’re whole and healthy and strong again. You fucking did it and I’m so so proud of you… but I just…” he shakes his head again
“You’re afraid” you say softly “Deep down you’re scared it’s too good to be true. That if you let yourself believe, it will slip through your fingers”
He glares at his hands. So angry that what you’re saying is true. Frustrated, he can’t just let himself move on. He just wants things to go back to the way they were, but they can’t.
You could say something like, it’s all going to be okay. But you don’t know if that’s ever going to be true. And you don’t think it’s what he needs to hear.
“Nothing will change the things we have seen. The things we’ve done. What we have endured. But we are survivors” you say confidently “What did we survive for, if not each other?”
He opens his eyes and looks at you. Really looks at you. Whole and healthy like you said. Strong and determined and steadfast for him. You are what he has survived for all this time. Since the moment your voice crackled across a broken com channel. You gave him a reason to survive. Something to fight for.
He leans into you, brushing a gentle kiss over your lips. He goes slower this time, easing into each kiss and taking his time. He continues to breathe slowly and deliberately. Savoring each and every breath that he is sharing with you. Every kiss, every touch and taste he takes to heart and is grateful.
You are careful as you help him take off his black fatigues, and pause to kiss every piece of exposed skin that you reveal. You guide his hands to help you take your clothes off as well, letting him do it but keeping control of this slower more intimate pace. He runs his hands up and down your bare sides. Drinking in the sight of you looking full and healthy in your figure.
You press him down on the bed, forcing him to lay back on the pillow and look up at you. To your surprise he doesn’t resist at all. Usually he likes to play with you, go back and forth on being the dominant presence in the bedroom. Not this time, you are leading and he is letting you. You reward him with a kiss and let your hand drift down his chest.
You smirk against his lips when his breath hitches. His cock twitches in your hand as you begin to cup and massage him. The sounds he makes as you continue stroking him are absolutely delicious. He groans in pleasure and squeezes whatever part of your body he can get his hands on. His slow breathing is beginning to pick up a bit and you can feel the first beads of precum dribbling down his length.
“I’ve missed this” You kiss his neck and breathe near his ear “Missed having you all to myself”
”Fuck” he chokes back a moan “feels so good”
”Yeah? It feels good when I touch you like this, doesn’t it? Do you want to finish like this or would you like more?” you keep your voice low and sultry, keeping the fantasy up but needing to gauge where he’s at physically and emotionally.
His own hand slides from your hip down between your legs, feeling the dampness between your thighs. “I want you. Want to feel you around me”
You let your own whimper of pleasure escape your lips as he finds your clit. For a moment you forget yourself and give into the pleasure. You haven’t been touched in months, by him or yourself. His fingers are strong and deft, but gentle and familiar. He knows what you like and how to please you.
You have to wrench yourself from your own pleasure and stop yourself from cumming into his hand. You back away and stand tall over him on your knees. He keeps a hand on your thigh, while the other strokes his cock. He watches with eyes glazed over in hunger and desire as you position yourself over him and sink down with a satisfied smile.
He grits his teeth to stifle his groans, he had forgotten how difficult it can be to keep quiet. He wants to squeeze his eyes closed but can’t allow himself to. He is committing every detail of you to memory as you work yourself up and down on him. The gentle bounce of your breasts, the combination of bliss in your eyes and teasing on lips.
Stars, you are perfect
You laugh a little between breaths and pitch yourself forward, grinding down harder and clenching your kegels. “Perfect? Is that what you said honey?”
Did he say that out loud? He doesn’t even care. You feel too good. He grasps and grips your hip with bruising strength “Oh fuck” he whimpers, surprising himself. He can’t keep his eyes on you, and he can’t stay quiet. Not when you look and feel this good. He squeezes the back of your neck, pulling you in close to him so he can bury his face in your shoulder to stifle his moans. He can hear you too, struggling to keep quiet. Panting and whimpering as you fuck him.
“Fuck… fuck… I’m gonna… gonna cum” he whispers into you.
“Yeah? You gonna cum for me?” You put a hand on his head “Go on, cum in me. Cum for me Wolffe”
He groans and chokes on his breath, his mind goes pure white. No thoughts. No nightmares. No troubles. Just you and stillness of water without a wake or breeze to disturb it. He’s never had such a euphoric feeling.
You feel all the tension in body release, while his cum floods your pussy. You ride him to your own orgasm and feel your own stress and tension melt away.
Gently you slide down a bit, and allow him to slip out. You don’t let go of him, and he’s still holding you with a pretty strong grip. You lay down with him, and stroke his chest while he takes some deep breaths.
You know he’s starting to come down and back to himself when his grip loosens. He nuzzles his nose against your head and strokes your back while you lay together. Finally he presses his lips to your forehead and whispers “Thank you”
You smile against him “Feel a little better?”
“Yeah, I would say so” he chuckles a bit, adjusting you both to lay on your sides facing each other so he can gaze at you and kiss you over and over and over.
“Tell me, if you ever start feeling that bad again” you say softly “We’ll get through it together”
“I will,” he nods. Now that he’s relaxed, he’s having trouble keeping his eyes open. He hasn’t been this calm in weeks. His many months of poor rest seems to be catching up with him all at once. He’s torn between wanting to give into this restful sleep he’s been craving, and staying awake to be with you that he’s been deprived of.
You can see how heavy his eyelids are and the strength he’s putting into keeping them open. You lay a kiss on his cheek “Close your eyes” you say softly “I’ll be right here when you open them” He nods and lets his eyes fall shut. Almost instantly his jaw relaxes and the quiet sounds of his breathing fills the room. You hold him for a few minutes while he sleeps. Feeling the ache of him inside you where he just was. You’ve missed him and wanted to just be with him for so long. Laying here in each other's arms, feels like a prize. Like a reward. This is what you lived for, fought for, survived for.

Aww I’m so happy you like it!
Hello it's @clone-anon and first of all thank you for saying such nice things. It really meant a lot. Second of all, yesterday I wrote a headcanon about the pets the corrie guards would have and wasn't sure if I should include them or not, so I decided not to since this is your fic and I wanted it to feel that way. So here's some Wolffe and platonic padawan reader.
"Why are we on this planet again," Wolffe asked.
"There's a war going on," you replied withouth missing a beat.
Despite his helmet, you knew his eyes were rolling as far as he could make them.
You both sat in the pouring rain under the only tree big enough to provide some level of protection. You weren't necessarily dressed for the weather since the rain came and the temperature dropped, and your clothes were getting soaked. Wolffe wasn't fairing much better, but his armor at least kept most of him dry.
"Here," he said, putting an arm around you. He knew it wasn't much, but it was all he had at the moment. It seemed like you'd been waiting to get picked up for ages, although you knew that wasn't the case.
"Thanks," you replied. You started to shiver, despite your best efforts. Wolffe started rubbing your arms and shoulders.
"Hang in there," he said, trying to be encouraging.
Several minutes later you were both happy to see a small ship land, ready to pick you up. You both bounded inside and sat down. Wolffe sat next to you, finding the emergency blankets and wrapping you in the biggest one before draping one over his shoulders. He broke the silence between you.
"When we get back to Coruscant, we should splurge on a hot meal."
You nodded. "My treat." You put up a finger to stop him before he could argue. He had paid for ever caf and every meal every time you hung out. It was more than your turn.
"Okay fine," he sighed, "but I get the one after that."
my heartttt 🫶✩
thank you so much! I have no words to describe how happy this made me!!

How Battle Changes: Wolffe
Chapter 4
Pairing: Dogma x Jedi!reader, platonic Wolfpack,
Chapter description: In hyperspace, heading to yet another battle, you talk to Wolffe in darkness
Warnings: reader has very little mental health stability, thoughts of death, jedi code (oof),
Wordcount: 1,1 k
Masterlist
The longer the war goes, the more you regret not being an archivist.
While it is true that Plo Koon is among the most peaceful and honourable jedi, even his ideals have to lay waste beneath the hungry jaw of war.
Before the war, you had a choice. Jocasta Nu could have taken you under her wing, so you could become the next overseer for the Archive after she wanted to rest.
But you chose your master, and now you are in a battleship in hyperspace, heading into battle.
“Wolffe?”
His head shoots up from the bunk to look at your own in the dark. Even if you are a padawan, you insist on sleeping in the same room as the men. You calm their dreams and enjoy their company. A soul too good in nature to be wielding a lightsaber into skirmishes. A soul too good to command an army of child soldiers into war.
“Yes, adi’ka?”
Your voice is thin and quiet. “Do you ever regret a choice you have made?”
He inhales and puffs out air. You have told him long ago that you appreciate his blunt nature, but he still wants to sugarcoat this thought even a little with a simple joke.
“I don’t think I have had much of a choice about anything in my life.”
You sigh heavily. The silence weighs more on you than on him. You want to say you are sorry, but what would you be sorry for? Wolffe doesn’t like being pitied.
You want to say you are sorry for so much. For not fighting more when the clone army was brought into action, for not marching into the senate chamber and screaming at the senators until your lungs give out for every soldier’s death this unnecessary conflict leads to.
“There is no way out of this, is there?”
He doesn’t know if you mean the war, or the choice you have made - even if he can’t fathom what that choice is - or this particular siege on a faraway Outer Rim planet. Hell, even you yourself don’t recognize the difference anymore.
“I could have been an archivist,” there is an edge of tears in your voice as you continue, “but I chose to train under master Plo before the war. His voice was so warm… I miss it. He’s so tired now. He doesn’t say it to me, but I feel it in the force. He’s still so kind, but...”
Wolffe thanks whatever god or gods there are that he can’t feel people through the force. He knows the General doesn’t want to be in the situation he is, but to even feel it every time you see him and to be able to compare with him before the war must be a special kind of torture.
“It’s like losing your father to a tumour over the years. It grows and grows and feeds until there’s nothing left but a husk of who the person once was,” he finishes the thought for you. He has never outright called Plo Koon his father, but the bond they share… it makes him think of foreign compassion he has never had.
And neither have you. Ripped from your own parents, then taken in and trained from an age that most beings can’t even read at. At least he never knew what it was like to have a mother or a father, but you will forever crave the vague affection from the hazy childhood memories.
"I sent a comm to Dogma a few hours ago, telling him I love him," you confess.
You don't know if you say it out of the misplaced Jedi-guilt of your relationship or the guilt of hiding something like this from a man you consider your big brother.
Wolffe lets out a non-committal hum. He knows you and Dogma have been meeting up in secret as friends (or at least you have assured him of that). Your demeanour has slowly changed, some days lighter than air in the clouds.
Some days, you just stare into the wall after looking over the galactic news. He can hear your gears turning. You specifically do it in places without the General present. You think he hasn't noticed it, but he does.
If you stare too long, your bottom lip wobbles and tears slip down from the corner of your eyes.
"Did he answer yet?"
You sigh heavily.
"I don't want to check."
The seconds tick by. Wolffe doesn't count.
Later on, when reminiscing of this conversation, he scolds himself for not seeing the obvious. Even if you're whispering, any of his brothers could have been awake.
He swears by his boys, none of them are tattletails.
But you still should have a healthy amount of paranoia, enough to not admit breaking the jedi code out in the open.
And yet… the usual carefulness of a seasoned jedi padawan was nowhere to be seen.
He should have guessed something was wrong, although the issue was glaringly obvious minutes later.
He never asked any of his men if they were awake. After the mission, he mostly didn't need to, none of them would remember after the hell they have seen.
“If I don’t make it, give my lightsaber to-” “Shut up!”
The force of his voice makes you flinch in your bed. He sits up (or you presume, as the pitch black doesn’t let you see anything) after he barks the command out.
“Wol-” “No! No, I won’t kriffin hear it!”
You're pretty sure his volume wakes up a few of his brothers. Somehow, your cheeks are wet and your hands are trembling next to your body. There is no energy left in you to stand up and leave the conversation.
"Alright," you whisper out, more to yourself than him.
"I'll give the saber to her myself then."
The damning silence doesn’t help.
“To who?” asks a voice from one of the bunks in the room.
You fight the urge to outright sob. Even if master Plo told you multiple times that emotions aren’t shameful and expressing them in healthy ways is encouraged, you still feel weak in front of your men. For them to just hear you admit you broke the jedi code and are thinking of leaving the order… right before a big battle.
“Ahsoka. She’s a good kid, I want her to be better than me.”
There, in the black of hyperspace, Wolffe knows the war has broken you.
“What about Dorin? Master said he’d take us to see the sages and their temples.” You sigh in response.
“He has been promising that for two years. I don’t fault him, we never get any down-time. I just…” you trail off and move around in your bed, now staring at the bunk above you.
It felt like talking you down from the ledge. After the battle, all Wolffe has to do is say a single sentence.
“Talk to them, buir.”
